A cozy Sunday night spent with my hermano grande and Danielle in their downtown apartment.
Had my (as I am discovering, genetic) OCD personality not kicked in, it would have surely been spent wasting the night away on the couch with yet another box of cookies (I am sensing a pattern here with the cookies...), tea and Danielle's PVR'ed episodes of Girls. However, I am perfect just the way I am and ended up making dinner, helping tidy up the apartment and build all the furniture they bought earlier in the afternoon from Ikea. And yes, I built all the furniture and made dinner... I think it's possible I am going to be an excellent wife one day.
And it was absolutely lovely.
It ended on the couch, with cookies, peach tea and Girls so in the end it all worked out like it usually does anyways.
Oh... and when I walked in to the apartment tonight, I discovered that Danielle & I were wearing the exact same thing (and we also dubbed it no-make-up-day which is why our faces are covered). This was not planned. I love her like mad and am so happy for my big bro that he has an awesome girlfriend (with a great sense of style too, obviously).
PS: today, I am grateful for red Thai curry.
